Our 4 inch medallions are handcrafted from fine art glass. For images we use 22k gold or a variety of other colors of your choice. We can work from finished art work or just a sketch of what you have in mind. If you are interested in creating a design of your own or using an organization or company logo or design, we would be pleased to help.
In the past we have worked, for example, with Purdue and Indiana Universities. We can do designs in gold or a variety of other colors on about any color of art glass you may imagine. As you can see, shapes other than circles are also possible. The Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company web site contains sample colors of the glass available.
In addition to the medallions, we create and place images on 8", 9" and 12" diameter art glass which we fire form into plates. We would be happy to send information about these items and the medallions upon request. Depending upon the image, we are able to use up to three colors in addition to the color of the glass on plates.
Members of my family have been involved with the manufacture of sheet art glass for five generations at the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company.
